Take a continuous length and, using your round nose pliers, create a curve of teeth at one end, which will act as a seal. Form a circle loop and place your beads, stones or beads on the wire. Depending on the materials that you used to create your pin, you may or may not want to seal them. This should be done before fixing the Pinback. All raw brass should be sealed because it will oxidize and fade if it is not. There are jet many lakes available, but it should be noted that many of them create toxic fumes and should only be used in well ventilated areas. Glass and stones do not need sealing, but pieces of china and all that is unglazed need it. Once sealed, pin must be given 8 to 12 hours to dry and another 8 hours after the pinback has been added.

Some continue to release lacquers gases up to three days after spraying and, if so, the room must be left to rest during this time, before wearing.
